3. How our forms work
Project Brief form (home page). This form does not store anything on our server. When you tick the consent box and press "Send Brief on WhatsApp", your browser opens WhatsApp with your message pre-filled. Nothing is sent to us until you press Send inside WhatsApp. Once sent, the message is carried by WhatsApp (operated by Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy, and is received on our business number.
Repair & Maintenance and Request a Consultation forms. These forms work differently. When you tick the consent box and submit it, your details and photos are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our web server. We keep a copy in a private folder that is not reachable from the public internet, and we email the request, with your photos attached, to our team. If you gave an email address we also send you a confirmation. We use this only to arrange your site visit or consultation, quote and follow-up.
Your photos. Photos are re-saved as ordinary images when you submit them, which removes hidden data such as the location and device details stored inside many phone photos. Please photograph the affected area only and avoid people's faces, ID documents and confidential information.
Camera. If you press "Take a photo", your browser asks for permission to use your camera. The camera runs only while the camera window is open, a picture is kept only when you press Capture, and nothing is sent to us until you submit the form. You can refuse permission and choose photos from your gallery instead, or change the permission later in your browser settings.
4. Consent
We process the data from the enquiry form only with your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting. Consent is free, specific and optional — you can still contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp or email without using the form.
You can withdraw consent at any time as easily as you gave it, by emailing info@dbestinnovation.com or messaging us on WhatsApp. After withdrawal we will stop processing your data for this purpose and delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
5. Cookies, analytics and third parties
- Cookies & tracking: This website does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking pixels. If we add any in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
- Fonts: The site's typeface is served from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other third party to display it.
- Web hosting: The website is hosted by Hostinger, which processes technical data, and stores repair requests, on our behalf to deliver the site.
- Email: Repair and consultation requests are delivered to our business email inbox (info@dbestinnovation.com), which is run by our email hosting provider. Requests you send us by email are handled the same way.
- WhatsApp (Meta): Used only if you choose to message us, as described above.
- Social links: Links to our Instagram and LinkedIn pages take you to third-party services that have their own privacy practices.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers listed above where needed, or where the law requires us to disclose it.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected. If an enquiry, repair request or consultation request does not lead to a job, we delete it, including photos, within 12 months of our last communication. Copies of requests stored on our server are deleted automatically after 12 months; we also remove the matching emails from our inbox. If it becomes a project, we keep project and billing records for as long as contract, tax and other laws require. You can ask us to erase your data sooner (see Section 8).
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and we restrict access to enquiry information to the people who need it to respond to you. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure; if a personal data breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed;
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erase your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected;
- Withdraw consent at any time;
- Get your grievance addressed by us; and
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so.
To use any of these rights, email info@dbestinnovation.com or call +91 85277 47545. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond promptly and within the time allowed by law.
